Klyde Warren Park | Downtown Dallas Family Portraits
Klyde Warren Park is a five acre green space built over the recessed Woodall Roger Freeway and is located on the edge of the Arts District, between Downtown Dallas and Uptown. It’s a welcome addition to the area and hosts an impressive schedule of seemingly nonstop daily and weekend activities (I get great updates from them on Twitter and facebook.)
Quite honestly I only heard about Klyde Warren Park in Downtown Dallas just a few months prior to its recent grand opening in October 2012, but I was eager to visit because of the buzz surrounding its interesting and unique features…
…So I was thrilled when one of my families requested to be be photographed in the park: Five adult brothers and sisters plus their mom and dad on a beautiful November afternoon/evening. Since both parents had spent careers in the Dallas area, Big D seemed a fitting backdrop for family portraits.
At any age, five siblings getting together for family pictures always provides plenty of laughs, antics and memorable times. I’m a huge encourager of all three since they make for fun and interesting family portraits!
We used the amazing Dallas skyline and some really cool areas of the park to feature Mom, Dad and siblings.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with our featured family and I suspect they might have had fun too! I’m looking forward to exploring even more of Klyde Warren Park and using its distinct features in upcoming family portraits!
Look at what we captured…
