Arlington TX Family Photographer

I’m guilty of  boasting that I work with the best families in Texas.  But, it’ s the truth!  It’s also a blessing and a privilege.

The hour I typically spend with a family portrait client is always rewarding (not just financially).

I enjoy seeing grandparents and parents and kids all together and watching them interact with one another. It’s family dynamics at its best.  It’s the counselor in me.  (I’m convinced there just might be room for a new brand of family therapy.  One that starts with observing a large group in a portrait setting!)

I’ve known this family for such a long time and to photograph a family you’ve know for years is a special treat.  I have a history with the Robbins family and they have a history with me.

There has been loss, but also additions over the years.  Spouses and kids.

I served as their youth minister and took Wes and Lori to camp when they were just school aged kids.  Their mom was always an encourager and supporter of my ministry and later my life endeavors.  She and I had a critical conversation just before I left my career in education to start a photography business.

So a walk around the park with this crew would have been a joy with our without my camera.  A half day would’ve been too short with friends
