This summer one of my images of Newsboys‘ drummer Duncan Phillips was published in the Salvation Army‘s young adult publication, Young Salvationist Magazine.

I capture a lot of concert images each year that are used online but there’s something special about seeing one of my images published as a two page spread in a magazine I can hold in my hands!

As always, Duncan has some great insights on “Christian music”, fans, family and the revolving drum riser among other things that he shares with us in this article.

So glad I could help put a face to an article that will encourage and challenge young people all over the country!
