Grapevine Train Station | Grapevine, TX Family Photographer

I’ve written a few recent posts about our Mini Session Events –but there’s nothing quite like a full family session to allow for plenty of time and multiple location changes.

One of my favorite spots for location changes is the Grapevine Botanic Gardens.  Not only is it a beautiful year-round location with several unique areas within the garden itself, but it is only minutes away from Historic Downtown Grapevine and the Vintage Railroad area.    

The Maxey family is one of my charter supporters so it was fun to get back together with them for an updated family portrait session.  The kids had grown and it was time to document the new looks and changes that seem to occur all so quickly over the years.

We spent some of our time at the Gardens and as usual barely scratched the surface.  Somehow, we needed to fit trains into our evening — so we dashed down the street to the vintage train yard just before sunset to capture a completely different feel for our final images.
