Arlington ISD Multipurpose Activity Center – Arlington High School

High school sports photography is familiar territory for me.  It’s fun to catch outstanding plays, capture amazing athletes in action and document the excitement of the crowd.

But I’m always up for a chance to look behind the scenes.  What goes on before and after the game can be just as interesting.

I was asked by the ArlingtonVoice to photograph some of the newly completed construction for Arlington Independent School District.

All six AISD high schools recently received a new multipurpose activity center (MAC).

The MAC is a versatile indoor space for athletics and other student activities. It comes in handy during those scorching August football practices and band rehearsals.
