Texas Bluebonnet Family – Arlington TX Family Photographer

This beautiful family wanted bluebonnets for their family portraits. Being that we’re in the Dallas Texas area that’s no problem.  As long as you book your session sometime between mid-April and early May!  It’s a short window.  Texas bluebonnets are here today and gone tomorrow.  But they are worth the wait.

I’ve never photographed a family on the side of the highway.  It just seems unsafe to me and I don’t like the idea of fighting other families and photographers for the best spot.  Honestly I can only use bluebonnets in so many pictures without a little overload.  After all, the family is the center of attention and the flowers can be slightly overwhelming (bluebonnet overload).

I opted for a location that offered bluebonnets plus a variety of other settings.  Windmills, shacks, barns and a tractor will work.  Have I mentioned we’re in Texas?

Our family needed to update their portraits to include the newest member of their brand new family of four!  Baby’s not quite ready for the camera– but maybe next time!
