NRH Centre – Grand Opening | Dallas Event Photographer
I recently covered the Grand Opening of the NRH Centre for the City of North Richland Hills, TX. It’s an 86,000 square foot (25 million dollar!) recreation facility that includes a fitness center, indoor aquatic park and a senior center. It also offers an elegant ballroom and terrace meeting center. Top notch all the way!
The day of events included an opening ceremony with the Mayor, members of the City Council, U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger and a host of dignitaries and special guests who were critical to the planning and constructing of the facility. The Birdville High School drumline led the way and the fireworks synchronized with confetti cannons completed the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Once inside, the facility offered special events including a gymnastics demonstration, a performance by the Ft Worth Symphonic Band and a “friendly”dodge ball game between the city’s police and firefighters.
If you live in North Richland Hills then definitely take advantage of your new facility. If you don’t, then at least stop by sometime when you are in the vicinity. It’s an impressive landmark in a growing and developing area of the city.
