I recently had the opportunity to cover the Newsboys show as part of Six Flags Celebration in Arlington, TX.

With their lead single, “Live With Abandon” already busting into Top 20 Christian radio, the Newsboys are gearing up to release Restart, their third album from the Michael Tait era.

The band was as solid as ever, delivering hope and encouragement throughout their signature high energy show. My Aussie mate, Duncan Phillips, showcased his sense of humor and offered up one of the finest drumming spectacles known to mankind atop his not-so-standard drum riser.

I had great access to this show and came away with some favorite shots from my perspective behind the set and side stage.

BTW – Much thanks to the Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline and their management for the opportunity and to both band’s amazing stage crew for making me feel welcome.
