My work with non profit and ministry organizations puts me around some of the best people in the Dallas Fort Worth area.  If you browse my blog you’ll notice my work with the special people at Mission Arlington.

Christmas at Mission Arlington is always extra special.  The Christmas Store and Bikes for Mission Arlington both serve to help out families who may need an extra hand around the holidays.

Bikes for Mission Arlington is a local organization that collects and delivers children’s bicycles at Christmastime. A long line of trucks and vehicles deliver the bikes which are distributed to the many different Mission Arlington sites around the city.

The Christmas Store is open during the week leading up to Christmas.  It’s free to shop for local residents who need it.

All of the toys and gifts are donated by individuals, organizations and businesses throughout the community.

Volunteers staff the wrapping stations, stockroom and shopping area.  Families, businesses, church groups and school organizations keep the store up and running throughout the day.

There’re so many opportunities to give and volunteer.  Consider helping or donating to Mission Arlington or another charity close to your heart this season (or anytime!).
