Roadshow Christmas Tour – Dallas TX Concert Photographer
The Roadshow Tour is always one of my favorite tours to photograph. Roadshow always brings great mix of artists to an arena venue and finds a way to keep it feeling intimate.
The newly rebranded Compassion LIVE, home of the Roadshow, sent its music and message on the first ever Roadshow Christmas Tour this year.
The Tour made a stop on the end of its run in Garland TX (Dallas) this month. Matthew West, Matt Maher, Building 429, Plumb and favorite new artist Leanna Crawford were included in the holiday lineup.
Roadshow Christmas Tour 2018 Lineup: Matthew West, Matt Maher, Building 429, Plumb and Leanna Crawford
Starting things off, Plumb opened the show amid a visually stunning silhouetted aerial silks performance.
Other than Leanna Crawford (we’ll be seeing more of her!) I’ve photographed all of these artists before. No problem since they all seem to keep it fresh and deliver something new each time I see them.
Roadshow artists seem to be always perfectly placed throughout the show. The night flowed easily and Compassion’s message was woven throughout the evening with time dedicated just before the end to give fans an opportunity to sponsor a Compassion child.
Before his set, Matthew West spoke on behalf of Compassion and challenged the crowd to “Do Something”
The tour allowed me to photograph the first two songs of each artist. I’m always happy to comply but I always feel like they are just getting started on the first two! There’s always something amazing to miss in the middle or end of a set.
I hope you got to catch this tour somewhere nearby. Here’s a few shots from the Roadshow Christmas Tour – Dallas TX Concert Photographer
