Winter Jam 2014 | Ft Worth TX Convention Center

A couple of months ago I covered  Winter Jam 2014.  Our Dallas-Fort Worth February brought some nasty travel weather with it.  So after being postponed, Winter Jam made its way to the Fort Worth, TX Convention Center on a beautiful spring evening in March.

If you aren’t familiar with the Winter Jam Tour just know that it’s 10 Christian artists for $10.  You heard me right.  It outsold all other tours during the first quarter of 2014 beating the likes of Beyonce´, Bruce Springsteen and Justin Timberlake.  It’s BIG.

The show started early with a Pre-Jam Party featuring artists Derek Minor, Everfound and Love & the Outcome.  Most of the tour dates featured Colton Dixon, Newsong along with Plumb and visual artist Jared Emerson, Tenth Avenue North and Thousand Foot Krutch.  The Fort Worth show added an appearance by Matthew West.

I was there to shoot for Winter Jam headliners the Newsboys, but I did catch most of the acts.
