One of the events I shot recently was the Acquire the Fire conference at UTA’s College Park Center. My assignment for the past few months has been to show the versatility of this top notch venue by covering the many events that occur there.

I love live shows so I was thrilled to cover performances at the weekend conference by the artist Shonlock as well as the band Hawk Nelson.

The energy that occurs from several thousand screaming kids is electric.

Shonlock, who has toured in the past as part of TobyMac‘s DiverseCity, can be found at several festivals this summer and is busy coming to a city near you.
