I’ve had the privilege of shooting opening nights for several great tours in the recent past including the Eye On It Tour with Toby Mac in Arlington, TX and last year’s epic Summer Shed Tour launch in Austin, TX. It’s always exciting to be up front and center for something brand new that nobody has experienced yet.
The Rock and Worship Roadshow tour kicked off it’s seventh year at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX and I was thrilled to be a part of the big event. The RWRS is a national arena tour featuring an evening with eight Christian artists/bands for $10 at the door. Hard to beat! This year’s lineup is an eclectic (and electric) mix of genre styles ranging from pop to rock, rap, worship and Crowder’s self described folktronica!
Between shows that evening I was pleasantly surprised to learn the Roadshow was taking up an offering for Mission Arlingon/Mission Metroplex, a ministry I’ve been associated with for nearly two decades. I love that they are investing into the communities they visit.
I’m not a concert reviewer, so I’ll just shut my mouth and post a few pics from February 18th, 2015 – the first night of Rock and Worship Roadshow – Dallas TX. Enjoy!
Do not miss the Rock and Worship Roadshow tour when it comes your way! Mercy Me, Crowder, Tedashii, Matt Maher, Jamie Grace, Shaun Groves, Group 1 Crew.
*Mind the schedule and don’t roll up late. My apologies for missing the first two artists–You’ll want to be there early for I Am They and Jon Guerra!
