$1000 Goes A Long Way – On Location HGTV Curb Appeal: The Block | New Season

If you’ve been following my last couple of posts, then you know that the Pace family of Euless, TX is in the middle of a $20,000 front yard makeover courtesy of HGTV’s Curb Appeal: The Block.   Last Friday was a big day for one of the neighboring families in Euless, TX.  They were one of two families chosen to receive the $1000 curbside mini-makeover and it is amazing what all can be done for that amount of money.  A few small changes can go a long way to get things looking better.

Kimberly Lacy is one of the hosts of Curb Appeal: The Block.  She is a fun and down to earth southern girl who floated around the neighborhood chatting with neighbors as if she lived next door.  Kimberly provides lots of interesting and creative ideas for the mini makeovers.  I think she gets as excited about the changes as the homeowners do.

So, Josh and Erin were away for the day and returned to a new front yard view.  They loved the changes and the kids were excited about the huge boulder in the flower bed.  I’m not sure how much the crew enjoyed placing the boulders, but they all got a laugh out of the process as it all came together for a great looking yard in the end.

Another mini-makeover was revealed this week and the Pace home is scheduled to be completed in the middle of next week.  There is lots of excitement on the block and we are all ready to see the finished masterpiece!
