Arlington TX Event Photography

The University of Texas at Arlington hosts a fantastic panel of speakers each year covering a diverse range of topics from politics and business to entertainment and science.

For five seasons now, UT Arlington has worked hard to bring our community a rich and unique experience with its Maverick Speakers Series.  Their own website describes the series as “thought-provoking conversations led by renowned innovators who make change happen.”

Free to the students and community, the Maverick Speaker Series has hosted the likes of Seth Myers from SNL fame, Baseball Hall-of-Famer Cal Ripken, Jr,  Bill Nye (the science guy!), NFL Legend Emmitt Smith and former governor Jeb Bush. You can watch clips from the Maverick Speakers Series here.

I was thrilled to be a part of the spring series so I wanted to share a few of my favorite images from our time with NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, TV host and conservationist Jeff Corwin and R&B/Jazz artists Aaron Neville and Ellis Marsalis.
