Third Day @ SpiritFest DFW | Dallas Concert Photographer

I wrote about SpiritFest DFW and some of its spectacular lineup, including Switchfoot, in a previous post.

SpiritFest DFW hosts an entire afternoon and evening packed with almost non-stop music. Its two alternating stages feature some of the finest artists in the Christian music industry along with as many local favorites.

Rock veterans Third Day closed the event bringing their always stellar game to the Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, TX.

During their show, the gentlemen of Third Day shared the stage with friend and previous act, Peter Furler (founder/former member of Newsboys).  Furler treated the crowd to a few songs with the band and even hammered out part of a song behind the drum kit where he started his career.  Peter’s father-in-law, who happens to be Christian rock pioneer Mylon LeFevre, made a guest appearance in what amounted to be an epic vocal jam session with LeFevre, Furler and Mac Powell.

Third Day has been creating great Christian music for nearly twenty years!  Their projects are always solid and steady and the live version of Third Day is always a treat —  you’ll leave inspired, uplifted and connected.
