Dallas TX Promo Photographer – Obi1 Muzik

I love meeting new artists and helping them create a brand for their new projects.

Obi is a gospel/CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) artist from the Dallas area.  With an album on the way, Obi wanted to create some fresh professional images for his new project and promos.

We decided that Deep Ellum in the downtown Dallas area would provide a great setting for his photo shoot.

Photographing in areas like Deep Ellum allows me to come up with a variety of images in a lot of different settings.

It had been awhile since my last photo trip to Deep Ellum and I was seriously disappointed to see that my favorite areas had changed.  However, what replaced the area was much better for our purposes.

Several of the open areas made it easy to flow in and out during the afternoon before the crowds settled in.  We were even able to take cover from the blazing sun inside one of the establishments (after asking permission of course).

Obi’s new album, Speak Lord, is on schedule to drop this summer.  Excited to see how the images look!
